When should you use a professional driver trainer?
We recommend always starting with a professional, get some good habits in place and revisit with a professional during your Learner's 120 hr journey. This will make it a better experience for all.

Our new compact 1-Day Learner Driver Course is an excellent option for those that have little or no driving experience and want some basic skills in place before they hit the road.
Our Introduction to Driving will equip your future young driver with basic car control skills, paired with in class information on Road Law and Safe driving practices
What’s Included:
Expert Instructors: Learn with an accredited METEC Instructor in a dual control vehicle to get the basics in place.
Hands-On Practice: Gain real driving experience with practical, on-the-road training with a METEC Instructor at the METEC closed road facility. A real road environment without the challenges of public roads.
Classroom presentation: Includes an overview of Road Law and essential safe driving practice.

Begin your journey with the Correct Techniques and Road Rule Tuition and establish good habits. For more in-depth training for your new Learner, this comprehensive course is scheduled for School holiday periods, when our young drivers have more time available.

- 11 hours course time
- This 2-day course is held at our unique, closed road facility (6 hours per day)
- Includes a 60-minute Parent/Supervising Driver Session at the end of the first day to help you with your time on the road
- No Learner’s Permit is necessary for this course
- Recommended for Pre-Learner or New Learner with little or no driving experience (up to 20 hours)

- Recommended minimum age 15yrs 6months

5.25 hour individual learner course, recommended for Learner Drivers with 20+ hours of experience
Includes: Road rules theory, Safe driving techniques and driver awareness, on road review of Driving skills, Focus on car control and driving safely with braking exercises at the METEC facility, In a dual-controlled vehicle with an expert driving instructor.
- This course is carried out on public roads with some braking exercises at the METEC Facility
- A Learner permit is required
- Student should be competent to drive on public roads in their booked transmission. i.e. Auto/Manual
